.) Login to your WebAdmin (or any internal) account.
.) Go to Edit Website Content section- Featured Products.
.) Enter LineCode and Part #, then click the Search button. This does a real-time search in your business system to check that it is a valid part and pull back a relative data for the part.
.) The List Price field should now be filled in with the list price for the part that pulled back from your business system from Step 3. This cannot be changed.
.) Featured Price Type allows you to control how you want to advertise the featured price for the part. Select one and move to Step 6.
.) Depending on your choice in Step 5, you will need to fill in the appropriate number/amount in the field below. For example, if you chose to Customize Price, enter the amount you want to feature the part for. This price would be the featured price displayed on the Featured Product display found on your homepage and/or user landing page (depending on your UI setup). The Featured Price field to the right shows you what the price will be.
.) The Description field will already be populated with what came back from your business system for part description from Step 3. You can change this if you would like.
.) Customer Description is required. This allows you to provide more detail about the part for the user, and displays only in the popup the user receives when they click on the featured product image.
.) Additional Description is optional, and like the Customer Description, displays only in the popup the user received when clicking on the featured product image.
.) Selecting "No Date Range" will keep the part as a featured product until manually deleted. Otherwise, select "Select Date Range" to choose the dates you want the part to display as a featured item.
.) Click the Thumb/Big links to upload the small part image that shows on the main display (thumbnail) and the large image that shows in the popup when users click the small image. Recommended image sizes are the following: Thumb- 60x60 Big- 200x150.
.) Click the Save button to save the featured item. It should be listed in a chart at the bottom of the page so that you may edit it in the future. The item should also be displaying in your website Featured Products display.
